I’m Alphonso Gaita, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New York with over 10 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges.

Throughout my career, I have worked in child welfare, Rikers Island, state psychiatric hospitals, the public school system, and outpatient therapy, providing individual and family counseling. My diverse background allows me to address a wide range of personal concerns, ensuring tailored support for each client.

I specialize in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including:  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Care & Trauma Resolution Energy Therapy, Restorative Practice & Brief Strategic Family Therapy
